Aller-G Allergen Introduction
About
South Africa's first shelf-stable allergen introduction powders, helping parents introduce common food allergens to babies from 6 months with confidence.
Don't know when, how and with what to start your baby's allergen introduction journey? Aller-G takes the fear and guesswork out of it. Created by Marita, a mom of 3 with a decade of experience in the baby food industry, Aller-G is the first shelf-stable allergen introduction product in South Africa. It is backed by research and packed in an FSA certified facility. What's in each pack • Peanut flour • Tree nut flour • Soya powder • Cow's milk powder • Egg powder • An info booklet with easy-to-follow guidelines, education on allergies and a handy tracking chart How it works Mix each powder into your baby's usual fruit or vegetable purée, or sprinkle it on baby-led weaning foods. Introduce one allergen at a time, starting with ½ teaspoon (1-2g) and increasing gradually over 3 exposures. Each allergen gives enough for 3 initial exposures plus about 11-13 more teaspoon servings over the following months. Prices • Single Allergen Introduction Pack: R289 • Double Allergen Introduction Pack: R549 Good to know For babies from 6 months who have already started foods low in allergens, like fruit and vegetable purées.
